Pianist Steve Stargardt, his daughter, Lori Jayne Dear (Stargardt) on flute and grandson Jack Stargardt on bass will perform selections from a wide variety of jazz from the American Songbook and contemporary artists. @ The Music House Museum

The Music House Museum is proud to welcome three generations of Stargardts in concert on April 27th at 7:00PM. Pianist Steve Stargardt, his daughter, Lori Jayne Dear (Stargardt) on flute and grandson Jack Stargardt on bass will perform selections from a wide variety of jazz from the American Songbook and contemporary artists.

This will feature 3 generations of Stargardts in concert.  Lori Jayne Dear(Stargardt) is my youngest daughter and flutist. She has a minor in flute from Western Michigan University and has kept active in music performances.  Lori Jayne and Steve have performed in many different venues in classical and jazz settings. Jack Stargardt, grandson, is a junior at Rockford High School.  Jack is principal bass player for the Junior Grand Rapids
Orchestra and plays in the Rockford High School Jazz Band.  He was recently named “High School Bassist of the Year” in the state of Michigan.

Pianist Steve Stargardt has a wide range of musical experiences in his career.  Steve has worked with most of the local jazz musicians in many different settings.  He has arranged and directed the band for the TC Rotary show and the Elk Rapids Rotary Show and Old Town Playhouse Gala Fundraisers.

The music selections will offer a variety of jazz from selections from the the American Songbook and contemporary artists.
