The Music House Museum is proud to welcome Steve Stargardt, Bill Sears and Jack Dryden in concert Friday, September 30 at 7:00PM, playing Cole Porter, Duke Ellington and other selections from The American Songbook.

Pianist Steve Stargardt has a wide range of musical experiences in his career.  Steve has worked with most of the local jazz musicians in many different settings.  He has arranged and directed  the band for the TC Rotary show and the Elk Rapids Rotary Show and Old Town Playhouse Gala Fundraisers. Bill Sears was the Director of Jazz Studies and Instructor of Saxophone at the Interlochen Arts Academy from 1987-2021 and the Interlochen Arts Camp from 2010-20. An active jazz saxophonist throughout Michigan and the Midwest, Sears has performed, toured, and recorded with many leading musicians including Ray Charles and Dizzy Gillespie. Jack Dryden is a very in demand bass player all over the state.  He graduated from Berklee School of Music in Jazz Performance.  Jack is very versatile in all styles of music.  He plays with the Traverse City Symphony Jazz Orchestra and has played for years at the Chateau Chantal with Jeff Hass.
