The Music House Museum is proud to present the Harold Lloyd Silent Movie: “Speedy”, accompanied by Interlochen Arts Academy Staff Pianist, Steve Larson at both 5:30PM and 7:30PM on Friday June 17
Pop Dillon (Burt Woodruff) owns and operates the city’s last Horse-drawn streetcar. His granddaughter Jane Dillon (Ann Christy) is in love with Harold “Speedy” Swift (Harold Lloyd). In order to form a streetcar monopoly, a transport magnet plans to ruin Grandpa’s business for good. It’s up to “Speedy” to thwart the evil scheme and save the day.
“Speedy” will be accompanied by long-time Music House contributor, Interlochen pianist Steve Larson on our nine-foot Baldwin Grand Piano at 5:30PM and 7:30 PM on Friday June 17.
Steve Larson has played in recitals and chamber music festivals throughout the Midwest including the Absolutely Amadeus festival, the Manitou Music Festival and Chamber Music North. As a dance accompanist, Mr. Larson served as company pianist for the Milwaukee Ballet and has played for Minnesota Dance Theater, Alaska Dance Theater, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Ballet Hispanico and others.
