Join us for a tour as we celebrate the beginning of our exciting 2018 season Opening Day and share the Enduring Magic of Music!

The Music House is always happy to welcome guest again to share the magic! We have been very busy over the winter months. Staff and volunteers have been working on repairs, redesigning exhibits and adding new, unique and exciting instruments to our collection. We would love to see you on our May 1st Opening Day.

Enjoy our favorites from the simplest music boxes, to our 1922 MortierDance Organ that fills the rafters with incredible music. See and hear beautiful nickelodeons and our Weber Duo Art recording piano playing Gershwin doing a duet with himself of Rhapsody in Blue. Experience our ‘mighty’ Wurlitzer theater organ accompanying a short silent film and so much more!

If you have never experienced the Music House Museum you need to add this to your bucket list. Listed by forbes.com as one of the 10 reasons to visit (Michigan’s) Lower Peninsula, it is a testament to the lengths that we have gone to make music a part of our everyday lives. The beauty of the craftsmanship and sounds of these works of art will amaze you. And the feats of engineering will also fascinate!

As we begin our 36th season, we hope that you will join us. If not on opening day, we would love to see you during our May through December season! We continue to connect you with the enduring magic of music.
